Business Practice Interchange (BPI) Database
STOP BIDDING IN THE DARK! The BPI database, administered by ASA of Baltimore and open to all ASA members, allows subcontractors to inquire about the industry business practices (payment habits, job safety, scheduling, contract terms, etc.) of general contractors, owners, developers and construction management firms. National ASA also provides a BPI service so you can inquire into contractors from across the nation!

ASA is unlike any other organization you may know about or belong to! No where else will you find others so willing to stand up for specialty contractor rights. Construction is a multi-billion dollar a year industry full of government legislation and regulation. ASA is your voice in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. legislatures.

The Subcontractors Education Trust is your one-stop source for educational resources designed just for subcontractors and suppliers. Nationally designed programs and locally sponsored events provide members with the opportunity to hear experts discuss the latest trends in the construction industry and how to make these trends work for their businesses. Networking Opportunities

Chapter and National ASA meetings are an opportunity to meet your colleagues from throughout the industry and exchange information about business skills, new technologies, new ideas and business contacts. ASA of Baltimore hosts regular Membership Meetings, an annual Crab Feast & Silent Auction, a Spring Golf Outing, and a Holiday Party every December. ASA National also sponsors meetings, including the Annual Convention.
